Level Switch FX installation

Step 1: The stainless steel container without Level Switch FX

Step 2: Start mounting the FX-COLLET with glue/silicone and tightening it with two cable ties. The FX-COLLET shall be used on cylindrical containers to establish a curved glue/silicone joint.

Step 3: Fill the gap between the container and the Level Switch FX with glue/silicone and press the Level Switch as close as possible to the container. The gap shall be as thin as possible but without air bubbles. The joint shall be solid.

Step 4: Use a rubber band to press the Level Switch to the container. The curing time for silicone is 24-48 hours.

Step 5: After curing time the rubber band can be removed and if IP65 is needed the FX-CAP can be mounted on top of the Level Switch FX.

Step 6: The cable ties can be removed but it is not needed. The Level Switch FX also works without the FX-CAP if it is placed in a dry area. The Level Switch FX is now ready for calibration and settings. Follow the manual.
